ACTORS
GUILD

TRAIN. TEST. RESTORE.

TRAIN. TEST. RESTORE.

You've graduated, you're an actor, now what?
The in-between. A reoccurring moment in time where the actor needs space, community and an opportunity to keep working creatively until their next role.

Whether you're a fresh graduate or someone who's been acting for years the Melbourne Actors Guild is a physical studio where actors can turn up to workout and collaborate with others.

We‘re got courses for training, sessions for testing and community events for you to get inspired and replenish those creative juices.

The Guild is a community for anyone who is dedicated to their craft and is looking for somewhere to find their unique artistry through supported and sustainable practice.

Here you have permission to be bold, to fail

and to experiment, all while developing your practice. This affordable, no-commitment studio is somewhere you can reconnect to your acting, take your creative career into your own hands and get supported by a great bunch of peers along the way.

"

...immediately I knew it was a place I could feel challenged, grow, and meet like-minded artists. I've since attended a brilliant scene study workshop, improv class, and worked in the self-tape/sound studio. I can't recommend this place enough.

WE OPERATE ON BOON WURRUNG LAND.

The Melbourne Actors Guild acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country

throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.

We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect

to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Melbourne Actors Guild operates on Boon Wurrung land in the Kulin Nation.

The unrelenting strength of First Nation communities means we are privileged

to encounter the survival of the oldest living culture known to human existence.

It is an honour to work on country created and nourished by such extraordinary people.

Sovereignty was never ceded and we pledge to always work

in the spirit of reconciliation and to do what we

can to support First Nation determination.

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
